Bill has been providing Vocational Rehabilitation services to injured workers since 1993. His areas of expertise include all phases of VR including Ergonomic Evaluations, Job Analysis, Return-to-Work Coordination, Labor Market Surveys, Crisis Management, Psychiatric Conditions and Traumatic Brain Injuries. Bill is also a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician.

He resides in Middlebury, Vermont and covers all of western Vermont as well as northeastern New York.

Kate joined the VRS Team in January, 2017 and serves as a Field Nurse Case Manager in Vermont and New Hampshire. She graduated Magna Cum-Laude from Castleton University in 2011 and has been in the nursing field since. Kate’s medical expertise includes progressive and intensive care experience as well as catastrophic care. Prior to beginning her nursing career, Kate was a Senior Publicist where she honed her excellent verbal and written communication skills. Kate resides in Woodstock, Vermont, is proficient in French and is a Licensed Registered Nurse in Vermont and New Hampshire.

Sandra has 30 years’ experience as an RN. She has been a nurse case manager for thirteen years. Sandra has a strong background in resolving catastrophic cases. In addition to workers’ comp, she has handled Long Term Disability and Longshore files. Sandra is known for her ability to move even the most difficult files to resolution. She resides in North Branford, Connecticut and covers southern and central Connecticut as well as southern Rhode Island.

Donna Curtin will share her professional expertise on a VR panel at the New England Workers’ Comp Seminar at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts on Thursday September 28th. Donna will also present for the 5th consecutive year at the Vermont WC Adjusters’ Conference, on Friday October 27th in Burlington, Vermont. VRS Disability Management
Hosts our 9th Annual Tee Off Fore Ta-Kum-Ta
80 players participated in this year’s event to benefit Camp Ta-Kum-Ta for kids with cancer, many of whom have participated in all nine tournaments. Held on Thursday, September 7th at the beautiful Country Club of Vermont in Waterbury Center, Vermont; TOFTKT has raised over $100,000 for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta. Special thanks go out to Laura Frey for her nine years of tireless efforts running this tournament and to Hattie Johnson of TKT for her assistance. This year’s event was dedicated to John Swanson who was a generous supporter of our tournament as well as a dear friend to many who participated. We miss you Swandog.

Curtin Selected to Non-Profit Board

The Institute of Professional Practice, Inc., a nonprofit organization
serving adults and children with developmental disabilities,
announced in May that its board of directors recently selected
Donna Curtin as one of three new members. The Institute is
based in Berlin, Vermont and is active in Massachusetts,
New Hampshire, Connecticut and Maryland. Donna also serves
on the Governor’s Committee on Employment of People with
and is acting Interim Chair.
